Carolina Spicy N Tangy Chicken BBQ

A spicy and tangy bbq to make your taste buds dance on your tongue. A great flavor and filling meal that will leave you satisfied.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cut all potatoes into quarters.
  2. Cut onion in to quarters.
  3. In a large pot, add water and all seasonings, potatoes and onions, then bring to a boil.
  4. Once boiling, add chicken.
  5. Boil until chicken reaches internal temperature of 165 degrees.
  6. Take chicken out of pot.
  7. While chicken cools. strain the stock into a bowl separating the potatoes and onions from stock.
  8. Place potatoes to side and put stock back in to pot on medium heat.
  9. After chicken cools remove all skin and bones and add back to pot and simmer for one hour.
  10. Pull the chicken meat into shreds.
  11. After shredding chicken, add 1 cup of BBQ sauce. Add more if needed.
  12. Serve on bread
  13. Take potatoes and mash then serve with Pulled Chicken BBQ.
