Option 1: 1 cup water 110 degrees, 2 1/4 tsp dry yeast, 1 tsp sugar
Lets add all ingredients to a bowl, mix and let double in size. Once doubled, it is ready for use.
Option 2: My potato bread recipe, I use a different method. My recipe calls for 1 cup of water. This is what I do
1: 1/4 cup liquid 110 degrees. (I use 1/8 c water and 1/8 cup oatmilk. Can be any milk.), 1 tbsp yeast and tsp sugar.
Lets add all ingredients to a bowl, mix and let double in size. Once doubled, it is ready for use.
(note: the remaining 3/4 cup of water in my recipe goes directly into my mixing bowl.) See recipe.
NOTE: Salt and Yeast do not mix. Salt kills yeast. Make sure you incorporate your salt into your flour before adding your yeast.
